Jesús Caicedo se reunirá en Madrid con navieras, instituciones y operadores turísticos

La Autoridad Portuaria de Almería (APA) participa este año en Fitur (Madrid, del 22 al 26 de enero), para promocionar los atractivos singulares que ofrece la provincia para el turismo de cruceros. Jesús Caicedo, presidente de la APA, estará en la feria madrileña –una de las más importantes del mundo-, donde desarrollará una agenda de trabajo que incluye asistencia a recepciones y presentaciones, así como encuentros con representantes de navieras, operadores turísticos, administraciones e instituciones relacionadas con el sector del turismo.
Acompañado por José Antonio Cuesta, jefe de División Comercial y Calidad de la Autoridad Portuaria de Almería, Jesús Caicedo acude a Fitur con la intención de reforzar el Puerto de Almería como punto de destino de los cruceros que realizan itinerarios por el Mediterráneo occidental. Jesús Caicedo está convencido de que la provincia tiene suficientes reclamos paisajísticos, monumentales, artísticos y gastronómicos para captar el interés de las compañías navieras del sector de cruceros y conseguir incrementar el número de escalas de barcos turísticos en la ciudad.
Puertos del Estado contará con un estand (el 10C01) en el pabellón 10 de la Feria de Madrid (Ifema), donde la delegación de la APA mantendrá encuentros con agentes del sector y asistirá a actos organizados por este organismo dependiente del Ministerio de Transportes, Movilidad y Agenda Urbano. Entre otras actividades, Jesús Caicedo se reunirá con Clia España –Asociación Internacional de Líneas de Crucero-, con el operador turístico BC Tours y otras empresas del sector. Asimismo, asistirá a una presentación sobre ‘Innovación y sostenibilidad’ organizada por la naviera Baleària, y a las actividades previstas por Suncruise Andalucía, asociación dedicada a la promoción del turismo de cruceros en la Comunidad Autónoma, y de la que forma parte la APA.
